A Study on Different Approaches on Image Segmentation

چکیده
Segmentation is the process to retrieve the feature or ROI from input image. The process is beneficial as the early preprocessing stage as well as application to identify the meaningful information from images. To obtain the meaningful information, more effective segmentation approach is required. In this work, a study is defined on the segmentation in image processing. The paper has discussed some of the common type of segmentation types applied on images.
